Easy Easter Breakfast

Super easy, good looking breakfast. This one is for those wanting to make it look like they went to loads of effort, but it’s super easy! Here we have Adelia apricot, almond and vanilla bean muesli, available in our bulk section. semi- poached fruits, homemade cashew milk and some hot cross buns, which can also be swapped for fruit toast or any toast if the theme isn’t Easter.

For the Muesli:

Serve covered in warm water, to soften the oats and make it warm, about 10 minutes prior to serving.

For the Cashew milk:

Soak cashews with 1 x pitted medjool date overnight, or if you haven’t time for that, soak with hot water for 15 minutes to soften cashews and medjool date.

Once ready, drain water add cashews and date to blender or bullet. Add 3 cups cold water, a pinch of salt and vanilla extract (optional) blend until smooth. If you feel the need you can also put it through a nut milk bag to make it extra smooth. Pour into bottle ready to serve.

For the semi-poached fruit:

Use any fruits in season, cut into chucks or slices and place into a saucepan on medium heat, add a little water so your fruit doesn’t stick to the bottom. Pour some maple syrup over the top and add a pinch of salt.

Cover your saucepan and allow to simmer for 7ish minutes. Once the fruits have softened and you have a little syrup left they are ready. Mix some nuts through and serve in a bowl.

Cook your toast/ hot cross bun in this case.

Plate up.

Serve with flowers, to really impress your lucky recipient!
