Our Story

Jo’s Pantry was founded by Jo De Lorenzo who started the business in June 2014. She saw a need for a health food store in Colac. For Jo, shopping at a health food store was the way she preferred to shop as the mega supermarkets didn’t have the quality food that she wanted to feed her family with. Liz, Patrick, Emily & Alistair were lucky to buy the legacy of Jo’s Pantry in March 2025. Together they have a simple yet powerful vision: to make organic, sustainable, and wholesome food accessible to the local community and beyond. What started as a humble dream by passionate locals has grown into a trusted destination for organic groceries, nourishing café meals, and connection.

We have sourced food from all over, but mainly aim to provide organic and local produce. For the interest of our health as well as that fresher more nutritious taste. 

The food we eat has so much to do with how healthy we are, we literally are what we eat, never mind the cliche, the hardest part is trying to get the message across. This website is to help with that.
